What Information We Collect and How We Use It
We collect and store only the personal data that you choose to volunteer while using our services. Some information (like credit card details and shipping address) is necessary to process orders. Other information helps us to make your experience on Elibron more enjoyable.
We keep your credit card information (holder’s name and card number are encrypted) for the purpose of processing your orders for our products.
We keep only shipment addresses that you want us to keep for your convenience. You may erase any address from your Address Book at any time. We will keep a database of all shipments already made for conflict resolution and research purposes, but this information will not be displayed on our Web site.
We keep customer e-mail addresses for accounts administration and marketing purposes, but we never disclose your e-mail address(es) to third parties. You may choose not to receive any promotional information from our Web site by visiting Personal Information page where this option is provided for your convenience.
When you send an eCard, recommend an item from our catalogs to your friend or use similar services, we need to know e-mail address of the recipient in order to complete your request. We do not disclose or send promotional messages to the recipient’s address that you provide.
We do not collect information about our visitors from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organizations, other than shipment confirmations and for security reasons listed below.
We automatically collect and analyze some information. Examples include Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; computer information (browser type and version, operating system and platform); and the full Universal Resource Locators (URL) stream to, through, and from our Web site, including date and time. We do not associate this information with your account. This information is stored anonymously.
We employ other companies and individuals to perform various functions on our behalf: fulfilling orders, delivering mail and packages, providing files for download, processing credit cards payments, and providing customer service. They may have access to some personal information they need in order to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
